Political Environment The political environment refers to the set of political institutions, processes, and factors that shape the functioning and dynamics of a country's political system. The political system encompasses the structures, rules, and mechanisms through which political power is acquired, exercised, and controlled.

Scales of business The term "scales of business" refers to the different sizes or magnitudes at which businesses can operate. It encompasses the range of sizes and scopes that businesses can have, indicating their relative scale and impact on the economy. The scales of business help to categorize and understand businesses based on factors such as their size, revenue, number of employees, market reach, and operational characteristics. Micro Business A micro business, also known as a microenterprise, is a business operated by less than 10 people and generates less than $250,000 in revenue a year. Micro businesses are a very popular form of business since they require very little startup capital and have low operating costs.

Micro business examples Micro business owners are often broken down into different categories, each with their one nomenclature. The following are all considered micro businesses: Freelancers Independent contractors Startup businesses Ecommerce businesses Street vendors Small, local, independent retailers Micro businesses represent a range of professions from accountants to web designers. They may operate as a home-based business or have a storefront or commercial office.

Small business A small business is typically defined as having fewer employees, lower revenue, and operating independently of larger firms. Small businesses are privately owned by an individual or small group of owners.

Types of Small Business Sole proprietorship General partnership Limited partnership (LP) Limited liability company (LLC) Non-profit C corporation S corporation

Medium enterprise The categories are the following: Microentreprises : 1 to 9 employees. Small enterprises: 10 to 49 employees. Medium-sized enterprises: 50 to 249 employees. Large enterprises: 250 employees or more. Medium Enterprises:  Where the investment in Plant and Machinery or Equipment does not exceed fifty crore rupees and turnover does not exceed two hundred and fifty crore rupees.
