What are regions? Regions are a group of countries located in the same geographically specified area. it can be a combination of two or more regions, organized to regulate and oversee policy choices and flows.

Regionalism It is an ideology of seeking political power of the people of one or more region. Regional organizations will always prefer regional partners over the world.

Regionalization It is a process of dividing a state or nation into smaller segments called regions. In political context, it is the subdivision of territory into administrative and/or political units.

Politics It is the activities associated with the governance of a country or other area, in hopes to achieve power. Shortly described as the activities of the government.

Regionalism in Politics Regionalism is also a political movement aiming to advance the causes of regions. ASEAN, EFTA, and EU are great examples of regional organizations.
