4. Polymer A substance which has a molecular structure built up chiefly or completely from a large number of similar units bonded together, e.g. many synthetic organic materials used as plastics and resins.

6. Polymer Sector in Bangladesh Polymer business, was commissioned on time and within budget are exposed to export industries . In Bangladesh Polymer industry is rapidly growing up. The demand of polymer products are increasing day by day. According to the BPGMEA,the major destination of Bangladesh plastic products are Poland, Chaina , India, France,Germany,e.t.c . Manufactures are producing products worth over taka 8000 core annually. At present there are 3000 small, medium and large plastic product manufacturing industries in the country. Many entrepreneurs are eager to invest in polymer sector.

7. Gazi Group In present time Gazi group has become a leading brand in polymer sector in Bangladesh. Gazi group was established in 1974. Bangladeshi uPVC pipe maker Gazi group is substantially increasing its capacity with six additional extrusion lines.

8. Objective S The main objectives of the thesis are as follows: 1. To source for machinery for extruding the uPVC profiles. 2. To find suppliers in order to purchase the raw material. 3 . Finally, all the financial aspects of the production are to be scrutinized.

9. uPVC Regular PVC (polyvinyl chloride) is a common, strong but lightweight plastic used in construction . It is made softer and more flexible by the addition of plasticizers. If no plasticizers are added, it is known as uPVC ( unplasticized polyvinyl chloride).

10. Raw Material Base Material: The material from which pipe is produced shall be polyvinyal chloride with additives necessary for the manufacture of pipe accordance with this standard and satisfy color requirement .

Raw Material Reworked material : Reworked material is added or used, it shall be clean and in accordance with base material, it shall be derived from pipe produced in accordance with this standard, reground under the supervision of the same manufacturer and used only in the production of pipe sizes up to and including nominal size 6.

Production Line 1 Collect Production order From Sales Dept as individual order from market 2 Organize all individual orders as customer requirement based on length, Dia , Color and other specification 3 Raw metarials collection from store based on the standard recipe 4 Mixing as per the ratio mentioned in the recipe: Control Mixing temperature will be 150 cent to more depends on the recipe 5 Mixing Cooling Control: Mixture temperature should come to 40 or less

Production Line 6  Auto loading to Hopper 7 Extrusion Controls:Tempertature,Load RPM based on recipe and production speed required 8 Die Controls: Temperature based on the recipe 9 Seizing 10 Cooling Control: Water Temperature within 16-22 deg centigrade 11 Printing Control: Setting printing as the specification of the pipe

IMPORT RAW MATERIALS Bangladesh’s import of plastic products have significantly increased mainly due to rise in import of raw materials and intermediate products (Table 1).In 2013, total import of plastic products was US$1.2 billion compared to US$240 million in 2001.In the total import, US$1.16 billion was raw materials / intermediate products (96 per cent of total import in 2013) compared to US$225 million in 2001 (93.8 of total import in 2001).It is to be noted that about 20 per cent of the raw materials of polymer industries in Bangladesh are from recycled material. U.A.E.,Japan,Chaina,USA,Thailand e.t.c . are major sources of importing raw materials for polymer industries in Bangladesh.

27. EXPORT RAW MATERIALS According to the BPGMEA, nearly about 250-300 units are involved in the export market. About 65 per cent units are located in Dhaka and nearby areas,20 per cent in Chittagong, 10 per cent in Narayangonj and the rest 5 per cent are in Khulna, Comilla , Bogra and Rajshahi Districts.

Mass In =Mass Out + Mass Stored Raw Materials = Products + Wastes + Stored Materials Just as mass is conserved,so is energy conserved in processing operations.The energy coming into a unit operation can be balanced with the energy coming out and the energy stored. Energy In = Energy Out + Energy Stored

31. Discussion The goal of Gazi Group looking for a reliable production line was achieved by analyzing the technical description and the quotation of three different manufactures. It will provide the company with option to pick from. Regarding the raw material, two different suppliers were pointed out along with the prices and the description of their supply. These processes potentially address the objectives of producing the required uPVC profiles. Gazi Group ensures superior products and services quality at a competitive cost and establish long-term relationship with their shakeholders .

32. conclusion A silent revolution has taken place in the field of uPVC and plastic products in Bangladesh . Almost all the families of Bangladesh are now using uPVC and plastic household products in their daily life . Otherwise according to the SMI 2012,the sector employs about 37,689 workers of which 27,437 (27 per cent) are male and 10,252 (28 per cent) are female workers.So,finally said,at present time six lakh people are directly and indirectly involved in this industry.
