2. BASKETS
The Pomo tribe made baskets
and were known to make
baskets. They made baskets
as gifts and they used beads
and feathers. They were
famous for there basket
making.

3. THE POMO TRIBE MADE
BASKETS

4. The Pomo tribe lived in domes. Made
out of dead grass and bent poles. The
bent poles were to support the
house. 50 people could fit in one
dome.

5. CURING PEOPLE
The Pomo people believed that that singing a powerful song
would cure the indians from diseases. Another method used to
cure was sucking the poison from the body. Doctors still
practice these cures today.

6. FOOD

The Pomo people did not
plant crops . So they relied on
nature a lot . They ate a lot of
fish.
They ate acorns, shellfish,
deer, elk, rabbit and sea lion.

The Pomo tribe used
spears,clubs,nets,cling and
clay balls as weapons.
Spears were used to fish with
and so were nets.

9. The Pomo tribe lived in
California
The pomo tribe spoke
Hokan. They were moved
north by the Yukian .They
relied on the ocean a lot.

10. Transportation
The Pomo tribe used canoes
to fish , but when on land they
walked. They did not ride
horses.

11. CLOTHING
The Pomo tribe women wore
skirts. The men wore
headdresses and cloaks. They
dressed this way because of
the hot weather.
