3. Definition People have symptoms last weeks or even months after recovery from acute illness . That people are not infectious to others during this time . However there is no internationally agreed definition of post covid-19 condition as of yet .

4. Ever people who are not hospitalized and who have mild illness ,can experience persistent or late symptoms . Anyone can get long covid ,irrespective of the severity of disease . Recovered from covid ,But still Not feeling Right?

5. Symptoms may be new onset after initial recovery from an acute illness of covid -19 Or persistent from the initial illness. Symptoms may fluctuate or relapse over time Even people who did not have any symptoms can experience long covid

6. A wide range of long term- sympotoms are reported among others : Headache fatigue Chest pain loss of smell Muscle pain persistent cough Pins & needles skin rash Forget fullness recurrent fever Depression SOB Diarrhea abdominal pain

7. Covid-19 may increase risk of long term health problems : ‘CVS>>>MI, inflammation of heart muscle Respiratory >> lung function abnormalities Endocrine>>DM Renal>>AKI,CKD Neurology>>stroke, sleep disturbance , loss of taste & smell Dermatology>>skin rash Psychiatric >>depression ,anxiety ,change in mood Menstrual disturbance

8. WHO gets long covid -19 some factors appear to be associated with greater risk of suffering from long coivd-19 : 1 increasing age 2-obesity /excess wt 3-DM –type 2,COPD,CKD 4-patients on immunosuppresion medications ,organ transplants recipents Multiple symptoms at presentation
