2. For the first three scenes I added in a text overlay, animations added such as a fade in and exiting out with a expanding as well as a zoom it edited with graphs for a smoother transition. Clips are faded in, this is from starting the opacity to 0 and key framing it to 100 when text is finished, this way there isn’t too much happening when reading the texts, also gives it a more professional finish.

3. SOUNDS When I would be speaking or adding in a voice over, I found it easier to double me speaking and turn the music low, this way you would be able to hear me clearer. Turning the music up louder if there is a montage happening or no speaking is going on. And finally, when transitioning the music together, overlaying the two clips ever so slightly making one to fade out and the other to fade in, giving the transition through the pair to appear smooth.

4. overlay I added in an overlay to show off the pictures I didn’t have time to record or have on me at the time, this way the audience will have an understanding of what I am talking about. To add this I clicked onto overlay, imported my images needed, cut the clip to fit the timing of texts and when the object is spoken about and finally cropping and sizing the image so it doesn’t cover too much of the screen. TEXT For the text, I imported the font … to create a dramatic effect and clear to read when overlapping the video. Using animations such as fade in type left, fade out, expand exit and fade in, using graphs to zoom in to create a smoother transition instead of it being choppy.

5. GRAPHS ANIMATION Graphs are added in for the transitions to appear like a smooth input as well as they will zoom in however fast or slow I need them to be and zooming in when they are needed to. Keyframes are needed when creating these graphs and transitions, very simple to insert two key frames and change the clip to a transition needed (I just dragged them in closer to the screen for the zoom in effect.) & KEYFRAMES I used animations for both texts and a hand full of clips, this can create some effects on screen instead of it being boring with clips and texts not really moving, adding in these animations can create some movement and catch the audiences eyes. Adding in these affects can help bring some depth when talking about a topic or when showing the different performances.
