2 types of poverty Absolute Poverty - is a state in which a person cannot meet their most basic needs, such as food, clothing, and shelter.
Absolute Poverty Example: -A family struggling to survive, living in a small hut with no running water, electricity, or food. - A children who are malnourished and sick, and they are unable to attend school because their parents cannot afford to send them.
2 types of poverty Relative Poverty -when people don’t have enough money or resources to live up to ‘normal’ standards in a society.
Relative Poverty Example: - A working couple who are both employed but still struggle to make ends meet due to the high cost of living in their area. - Unable to afford the typical luxuries that their neighbors and friends have, such as new car or a big house.
