CHILDHOOD
Taylor Alison Swift was born in December 13, 1989, in Reading,
Pennsylvania. She is an American singer, songwriter, actress, director and
screenwriter.
Your father, Scott Kingsley Swift, was a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch.
He is descendant of three generations of bank presidents.
Your mother, Andrea, was housewife who previously worked as a
marketing executive for an investment fund.
Swift got her name because her mother was a fan of the singer James
Taylor.
The singer have a younger brother, Austin. Now, the family work with her.
Taylor spent her first years of life on a farm where Christmas pine trees
were grown, in Pennsylvania.

CHILDHOOD

TEEN AGE
When she was nine years old, Swift became interested in musical theater
and regularly traveled to Broadway for singing and acting lessons. She
then turned her attention to country music; Shania Twain's songs made her
"just want to run around a block four times and fantasize about everything."
Her weekends was performing at local festivals, fairs, coffee shops,
karaoke contests.

BEGINNINGOFCAREER
After watching an episode of Behind the Music about Faith Hill, the singer
felt confident that she needed to go to Nashville, Tennessee, to pursue her
music career. In her eleventh year, she and her mother traveled to
Nashville for spring break and left demo tapes of renditions of Dolly Parton
and Dixie Chicks songs for record companies. Several record companies
rejected her.
A year later, a computer technician taught her how to play three chords on
a guitar, inspiring her to write her first song, Lucky You.
When she was fourteen, her family moved to Nashville to help with her
dreams.
