Berdasarkan rumusan masalah yang dirumuskan di atas , maka memiliki tujuan penelitian sebagai berikut : Untuk Mengetahui Partisipasi masyarakat Sekitar Terhadap Perkembangan Wisata Hutan Mangrove Di Kecamatan Wotu , Kabupaten Luwu Timur . Untuk Mengetahui Perkembangan Ekowisata Hutan Mangrove Banua Pangka , Di Kecamatan Wotu , Kabupaten Luwu Timur .  Tujuan Penelitian

7. Manfaat teoritis a. Memberikan pengetahuan dan pengalaman baru kepada peneliti dalam melakukan penelitian dan menerapkan ilmu pengetahuan . b. Memberikan gambaran tentang keterlibatan masyarakat dalam . pelestarian ekowisata mangrove Banua Pangka di Desa Bawalipu Kecamatan Wotu Kabupaten Luwu Timur . c. Menjadi bahan pertimbangan untuk penelitian sejenis di tempat lain dan sekaligus menjadi bahan ; referensi bagi yang berminat untuk melakukan penelitian serupa dalam skala yang lebih besar di masa yang akan datang .” Manfaat Praktis a. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi bahan pemikiran bagi pendidik , masyarakat , dan pemerintah pada umumnya , khususnya bagi masyarakat Desa Bawalipu untuk pelestarian ekowisata mangrove lebih lanjut . b. Bagi peneliti , penelitian ini diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagain salah satu prasyarat kuntuk menyelesaikan Pendidikan Sarjana Strata Satu (S1) pada program studi Pendidikan Geografi , Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam , Universitas Negeri Makassar.
