2. SUMMARY
Council budgeted $1.2 million for street & sidewalk
improvements for the 2026 Street Maintenance
Program (SMP)
Agreement with Mendez Engineering for engineering
design & project management services
2026 SMP proposal of road rehabilitation consisting
of 9 project areas (5 streets and 4 Alleys)

3. BACKGROUND
SMP projects identified in conjunction with the 4x2 /
Water Main Relocation effort and new alley
maintenance program
Mendez Engineering proposal for bid and project
management accepted October 2025
Construction bid award for 2026 will be brought back
to council for consideration in March 2026
