Chapter 252.021 –Texas Local Government Code
permits City Manager to:
Enter into contracts without competitive bidding or
proposals for contract less than $50,000Chapter 252.022 –Texas Local Government Code
permits City Manager to:
Competitive bidding or proposals not required for
contracted personal, professional or planning services

5. POLICY ANALYSIS
Service objectives:
Formulate strategy to advance Broadway project
Advocate to TxDOT for project continuation
Reach design agreed upon by TxDOT & City

6. FISCAL IMPACT
Contract Term
One year with a renewal option if mutually agreed to by
both parties with expiration of September 30, 2025
Cancellation 30 days by either party with or without cause
Fee Schedule
Monthly fee of $7,500.00
City to pay all costs & expenses contractor incurs while
acting on City’s behalf
Funds included in City Budget
