2. About Vijay Shekhar Sharma Vijay Shekhar Sharma  (born 1978) is an Indian billionaire businessman . He is the founder of financial technology company Paytm Born: 8 July 1978 (Aligarh) Nationality: Indian He has been married with mridula sharma , He has a son vivan sharma

3. Education And Career Vijay began his college life at the age of just 15 years and graduated as an engineer at 19 years. Sharma has a bachelor's degree in electronics and communication engineering from Delhi College of Engineering (now DTU ).  In 1997, while in college, he started the website indiasite.net, and sold it two years later for $1 million . In 2000, he started one97 Communications which offered mobile content including news, cricket scores, ringtones, jokes and exam results. One97 is the parent company of Paytm, which was launched in 2010 . In 2017, Sharma appeared in Forbes' World Billionaire's List, the youngest Indian on the list .  He cites  Alibaba’s  founder Jack Ma and Masayoshi Son of Softbank as his inspirations

4. Struggling Days A topper in his school, he was lost in transition in college -Delhi College of Engineering. Coming from a very humble background (his father was a highly principled, school teacher who refused to earn the extra buck through tuitions because he believed in what was the right thing to do ). Struggling in Learning English: Vijay did not know how to read and write English for he completed his school education completely in Hindi, in his small town. However, he realized soon enough that to make it through college he must start learning the language first and with the help of books, second hand magazines and his friends, he mastered the language in a way which few can . He decided to build, to use the time he had from ‘not attend college’ by turning an entrepreneur . he decided to emulate some of the genius at Stanford, by. learning how to code all by himself . He started building his own content management system with  some of his college mates and were continuing their work.

5. Paytm story owned By Vijay Shekhar Sharma It was just his hard work and prior experiences that make him so successful today. Things were better when he launched One97, the parent company of Paytm . The experiments here were related to advertainment, commerce and content which led to the idea of payment ecosystem . He did not gain any funding on this idea and invested $2 million himself in proving it to the people about his game . He traveled a lot to understand the problem that people were facing related to finance and He tried to solve them. The company grew when it gave value to its customers in terms of internet wallet services, 24 x 7 customer care services which created trust among the people. Backed by consumer trust, Paytm’s stupendous journey to the top of the internet wallet market is now a part of startup.
