2. NEGATIVE STATEMENTS To create negative sentences or expressions in Present Continuous we add NOT after the verb TO-BE. Let’s check this verb . VERB TO-BE I am NOT ( I’m NOT) You are NOT ( you AREN’T) She is NOT ( she ISN’T) He is NOT (he ISN’T) It is NOT ( it ISN’T) They are NOT ( they AREN’T) We are NOT ( we AREN’T)

STRUCTURE To build negative sentences or expressions with Present Continuous , we follow the below structure : pronoun + TO-BE + NOT + action verb (ING) + complement Examples : I am NOT watch ING NETFLIX She is NOT surf ING on Facebook we are NOT Tak ING selfies NOTE: when a verb finishes in E like TAK E , we omit the E , and add ING .

4. CONTRACTED FORM We use the contracted way when speaking to make the oral interaction faster and easier . Let’s look some examples : I’m NOT listen ing to music now he ISN’T paint ing his car right now they AREN’T rid ing their bike in this moment
