My Daily Routine

Every morning, my routine starts early. Upon waking, I take a few minutes to stretch and prepare my mind for the day.

Then, I go through the process of fitting my transtibial prosthesis on my right leg, making sure it's properly fitted to provide comfort and stability.

Once ready, I dress in clothing appropriate for the weather and the day's activities...

..and have a light but energizing breakfast to get off to a strong start.

Before leaving, I check my motorcycle: tire pressure, brakes, and gas, as it's my primary means of transportation. I equip myself with a helmet, jacket, and the necessary protective gear, always keeping my safety in mind. Then, I start the bike and head off to work, enjoying the fresh air and the freedom of riding.

I work the afternoon shift, so I arrive at my workplace shortly before noon. I'm a sign language interpreter, and during my shift, I'm constantly moving and concentrating, conveying messages between deaf and hearing people. I try to pay attention not only to the accuracy of my signs, but also to my posture, to avoid unnecessary fatigue in my prosthetic leg.

During breaks, I take the opportunity to stretch a bit and, if necessary, adjust or check my prosthesis so I can continue working comfortably. The afternoon progresses between interpretations, conversations, and moments of intense focus.

At the end of my shift, around 6:30 p.m., I get ready to head home. I gear up again to ride my motorcycle and start the return journey, this time at a more leisurely pace.

When I get home, I take a moment to remove my prosthesis and relax my leg, allowing it to rest after all the day's effort.

Then I have a light dinner, spend some time on personal activities, or simply rest, recharging my batteries for the next day. This is how each day goes: with organization, necessary adjustments, and, above all, with a positive attitude toward each new challenge.
