2. MOtor neurone
-Motors neurones carry impulses
from the central nervous system to
muscles and glands.

3. -Sensory neurons carry impulses
from the sense organs to the
central nervous system.
SENSORY NEURON

4. RELAY NEURONE
-Relay neurones make connections
to other neurons inside the central
nervous system.

5. -DENDRITES: Branching fibres that make contact from the cell
body to other neurones.
-SOMA (CELL BODY): Consist of a nucleus surrounded by a little
cytoplasm.
-AXON: A long filament of cytoplasm, surrounded by sheath that
transmits the electrical signal.
-AXON TERMINAL: The part of the neuron that transmits the
signals to other neurons, glands or muscles.
-MYELIN SHEATH: Cover the axon to allow electrical impulses to
transmit quickly and efficiently along the nerve cells.
