INTRODUCTION. FEMINISAM: 1.Feminism is the belief that women should haVe equal rightS to men. The feminist Movement fights for equal rights nd opportunities for women. They seek to develop equal opportunities for women in edu and employment sectors. 2. The different kinds of feminism and its supporters even at certain levels disagree with each other about how womens are disadvantaged. Thr are 3 types of feminism and they have different point of views on family.
MARXISM: Marxism is the theory of karl Marx which says that society’s classes are the cause of struggle and that society should have no class. For example the private ownership should be replaced by co-operative ownership. d.
Marxists belief that family, education, religion and media etc maintains the class inequalities and capitalisam. The position of women changed according to how families were viewed.
Marxist feminists view on family: Marxists acknowledge that womens are exploited in family and marriage life. Nuclear family performs functions for capitalisam the wealthy passes their private property to their children thus reproducing class inequalities.

Marxist feminists argue that this is invaluable to capitalisam as she produces and rears future workers (children) without any cost. Womens are emotional safety value to absorb the husband’s frustration is created by capitalisam. Marxist fem further said that this capitalism wont end because womens would have to work double day simply doing paid work and house care work.
