1. 14th Initawnon Kaamulan Higaonon TribeThis narrative report recounts the memorable field trip to witness and visit in their culturalheritage of the Higaonon Tribes,which has a seven community tribes of Sinalac , Tagpaco InitaoMisamis Oriental,Philippines which are the KAHITO Sinalac , Tawantawan , Kalapakan , IP'sPoblacion , Kahito Tribal Council, Oguis Ancestral Domain and Baranggay Oguis Council of Elders.The trip aims to deepen our understanding of their traditions, rituals, native languages, andtheir way of living.On March 23, 2024 the day wherein I have to wake up early because it was a long ride for us.We're selected the second year BEEd to have an educational field trip. And we all excited toexplore in Sinalac , Tagpaco , as we departed in Initao around 8:00 in the morning. First weprayed for our safe trip before we go, and then we proceed our destination, as we goes by myfellow classmates are talking, laughing, taking videos, asking questions, enjoying the bumpyroad and going up the hill, we are little disappointed of the trees and grass are dry and dying.An hour has passed of travel, we arrived at the BALAY TULOGAN in Sinalac Tagpaco , and we arejust on time because their programs has not started. One of the leaders of tribes (DATU) waswelcoming us all and some their peoples and we requested to write our names for theattendance . We saw a mountains that surrounds the area and fresh air. The programs goes by itstart with the PAMBANSANG AWIT lead by the DATU whom sing their own languages and thenext is the opening remarks by Ms. Darmie Joy Legaspi Bagares the Higaonon youth officer.Ashort story from BAE Julieta Mutya of how the clans from, history of how the meet at the top ofhill where they called it holly place thatno one can go their without permissions. After that dance contest willbegan by its tribes they portrayed their story, living and rituals through dancing, when all of theparticipants are done the singing contest will be the next by using their own languages.Beforethey the first part of the program they requested all of the tribes to gather in front to dancestogether and also all of the Initao College students will requested to join them and it was agreat experiences.After that amazing performance, we'rehaving a lunch break of all, I love all indigenous peoplebecause they are good of sharing, they will always ask to eat together and all of us are enjoyingthe food and surround's with a nice people
