Main common challenges doing
business with the Japanese.

1.Meetings
People in America usually address as many topics as possible and try
to resolve everything in one meeting when it comes to business, but
Japanese people address issues in several meetings and in a very
specific order and the protocol is very formal compared to other
continents.

2.Work in group
Most of the entrepreneurs
in Japan work in a group
and the ideas they have are
presented as a group in
general and not individually,
so when working with them
the correct thing would be
to address them as a group
and a collective vision or
idea.

3.Education in business
People in Japan tend to care a lot about others so they take great
care when sharing an idea or expressing something, they always try
to show respect despite everything. And many times in America that
is usually left aside and not worrying much about the issues.

tips
-make first contact and get to know them.
- answer every question
-dont push for answers, be patient
-talk with people outside of negotiation and be patient in big decisions
-never interpret this as a wast of time or like if you do not care.
- nominication is a way to relax so prepare to do it
-approach the negotiation with facts and stats
