History IBM stands for International Business Machines which is one of the largest IT companies all across the world. It is also known as Big Blue since the 1980s, The nickname may refer to the color used in its logo, or from its blue-colored computer displays and cases prevalent in the 1960s through 1980s. IBM was founded in 1911 as the Computing-Tabulating-Recording Company and renamed to IBM in 1924. It has a major share of the market both in the United States and abroad. They started their journey from supplying hardware, and now it has become a top supplier of the mainframe computer. Later After the success in the hardware business, the Company started focusing on software. During 2010, the Company added some more services in the queue like cognitive computing and cloud-based services
