Types of governance systems: Democracy, Theocracy, Monarchy

2. 1. Democracy Citizens have the power to elect leaders through voting. Examples: United States, India, Canada. Elections, decision-making, and public participation.

3. A single ruler (king/queen) governs, often hereditary. Absolute vs. constitutional monarchy. Examples: UK (constitutional), Saudi Arabia (absolute).

4. Power is concentrated in one leader, with little or no public input. Examples: North Korea, historical Nazi Germany.
