I’d like to talk about Da Nang , a  coastal  city in Vietnam that I think is an ideal place for people to live. Da Nang is located in central Vietnam, along the coast, and it’s  well-known  for its stunning beaches , laid-back lifestyle , and friendly locals. I first heard about Da Nang from friends who had visited and couldn't stop  raving  about how beautiful and peaceful it was. The city itself has this perfect blend of urban development and natural beauty, striking the ideal balance between the  hustle and bustle   of city life and the  tranquility  of nature . Specifically, on one side, you’re amazed by  modern infrastructure with good schools, hospitals, as well as shopping centers, and on the other side, you’re surrounded by  breathtaking  landscapes like the Marble Mountains and the famous My Khe Beach. The weather is generally  pleasant , neither too hot nor too cold, always just right, making it a comfortable place to live year-round. Unlike bigger cities like Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang is less crowded and  chaotic , which means less traffic, less  pollution , and a slower pace of life. It’s also considered one of the safest cities in Vietnam, making it a great place for families. On top of that, the people here are definitely nothing short of amazing. They are  considerate , helpful, welcoming and they know the place like the back of their hand. My friend still vividly remembers how  thoughtful  the locals were when they lent a hand as she got lost.  So I have to say that Da Nang has it all, offering convenience,  affordability , and natural beauty in a way that few other cities can match -  a true peaceful haven ( trú ẩn ).

Describe a sport you watched and would like to try You should say: When and where you watched it Why you watched it Who you watched it with Whether you will do it in the future  And explain how you felt about it.

So, I’d like to talk about a sport I watched recently and I’d really love to try, it’s  skiing . Actually, skiing had been  on my radar  for such a long time but it wasn't until the Winter Olympics that I became  obsessed  with it. It is still  imprinted  on my mind how my family  was all glued to the screen and in awe of the athletes’  exceptional  performances. They were so talented, graceful and fast, zipping down the  slopes  with such control and balance. Honestly, their performances were out of this world.   The main reason I watched it was because all winter sports  tickle my fancy , even though I live in a  tropical  country where snow is nowhere to be found.I still vividly remember watching it with my siblings, and we all wondered how cool it would be to experience the sport and feel that adrenaline rush ourselves. Admittedly, skiing looks like it’s no walk in the park, but isn’t it  fascinating  to test your physical abilities, discover new potential, and enjoy the beauty of snowy landscapes—all at the same time?   The exact word I’d use to describe my feeling while watching this unique and  adventurous  sport is excitement. I’m eager to give it a go in the future, maybe on a holiday to a place with  proper  ski resorts.

PART 3 1. Do you think sportsmen would use the sports gears promoted in the commercials? 2. Many advertisers like to use sports stars' endorsements. What do you think are the reasons? 3. Do you think that international sports games are for money? 4. Why do so many people like to watch sports games? 5. What kinds of sports games do young and old people like to watch in your country? 6. Why do many people like to buy expensive sportswear for playing ball games?

Describe an online video in which you learned something new You should say: When and where you watched it What it was Why you watched it And explain what you have learned from it.

So, I’d like to share an experience about a time I watched an online video that really helped me with my IELTS  preparation , specifically the listening section. I came across this video on YouTube while I was searching for ways to improve my listening skills, as that’s the area I was  struggling  with. The video  revolved  around something called the " dictation  technique," which, to be honest, was a foreign concept to me. The idea is  nothing short of simple : you listen to a short audio clip, then try to write down exactly what you hear, word by word. After that, you check your  transcription  against the original text to see what  mistakes  you made. It's fair to say, this technique helps you notice details like  pronunciation , linking words, and even  tricky  accents, which are definitely not  a walk in the park  in the IELTS exam. I watched the video because, at the time, I was really  hitting a wall  with my listening practice. I kept missing small details and was having trouble catching the exact wording. The  presenter  was of great help, he was so clear and gave great examples, breaking it down step by step. Since I started using this technique, I’ve made great  progress . I’ve become more  attentive  and have finally gotten the hang of identifying specific words and phrases, even in  fast-paced  conversation. And I can't help but feel a sense of pride welling up in my heart.

Describe a new law that you want to implement in your country You should say: What law it is What changes this law has Whether this new law will be popular And explain how you came up with the idea of this law.

Alright, so one law I would really like to see  implemented  in my country is a  ban  on  single-use plastics . It’s becoming  increasingly  clear that our  reliance  on  disposable plastic items  like straws, bags, and water bottles is having a  disastrous impact  on the environment. We see it everywhere, from litter  clogging up  our streets to  devastating  images of  marine life  affected by plastic waste.  Now, why this law? Well, single-use plastics are not only  non-biodegradable , but they also contribute  massively  to  landfill  and  ocean  pollution. By banning them, we could significantly reduce  environmental damage  and encourage more  sustainable practices  like using  reusable  items. For instance, countries like Rwanda and Kenya have  enacted  strict bans   on plastic bags, leading to notable environmental improvements. Shops now use paper or  cloth bags , and people are increasingly adopting reusable containers. This  shift  highlights the beneficial impact such  legislation  can have. Implementing this law would not just help in cleaning up the environment but also  foster  a greater  awareness  and  responsibility  towards  sustainable living . It’s about making a  conscious  choice to protect our planet for future generations, and honestly, it’s a change that’s long  overdue .
