Prophetic Teachings on Fasting and Worship in Ramadan

The month of Ramadan is a sacred time in Islam, a time for fasting, worship, and seeking closeness to Allah.

1. The Virtue of Fasting: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever fasts in Ramadan with faith and seeking reward from Allah, his previous sins will be forgiven.” (Sahih al-Bukhari).

2. The Night of Qadr (Laylat al-Qadr The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever prays on Laylat al-Qadr, with faith and hoping for reward, his previous sins will be forgiven.” (Sahih Muslim).

3. Dua and Seeking Forgiveness: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught that Ramadan is a special time for making dua (supplication) and seeking forgiveness from Allah.

In conclusion, Ramadan is a time for self-purification, increased worship, and deep spiritual reflection.
