WHAT ARE PICKLEBALL INJURIES?
A rapidly growing sport combining elements of
tennis, badminton, and table tennis, has seen a
rise in popularity.
These are considered low-impact sports
suitable for a wide age range, players can still
sustain various injuries.

SPRAINS AND STRAINS
Ankle Sprains: Caused by sudden changes
in direction, jumping, or tripping over the
net or lines.
Muscle Strains: Common in the legs, arms,
and back due to overuse or improper
warm-up.

TENDINITIS
Tennis Elbow (Lateral Epicondylitis): Overuse of the
forearm muscles can lead to this painful condition.
Rotator Cuff Tendinitis: Repetitive overhead
movements can strain the shoulder tendons.

KNEE INJURIES
Meniscal Tears: Twisting movements or sudden
stops can damage the knee meniscus.
Patellar Tendinitis: Inflammation of the tendon
connecting the kneecap to the shinbone.

FRACTURES
