4. SETTING Present tense, Southern New Jersey. It is Springtime and very close to school Spring Break. Gia’s house has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. There’s a luscious green area at the front of her house. Her school is a 4-minute walk from her house.

5. STORY Gia, newly 18, whimsically declares that "18 is the new 21." She excels at maintaining a balance between her academics and social life until she faces challenges in gym class. Forced to take make-up sessions due to her struggles, she endures rigorous jumping jack routines led by her petty teacher. In a moment of anger, Gia impulsively searches online for something drastic about her teacher and is shocked when it actually happens the next day. Frightened by the coincidence, she avoids her computer for a month. However, when a misunderstanding threatens her friendship with her best friend, Sushi, Gia reluctantly returns to her searching tendencies.
