PROCHECK is utilized for protein model evaluation and aim to assess how normal, or conversely how unusual, the geometry of the residues in a given protein structure is, as compared with stereochemical parameters derived from well-refined, high-resolution structures. Introduction

“ PROCHECK checks the stereochemical quality of a protein structure, producing a number of PostScript plots analysing its overall and residue-by-residue geometry. It includes PROCHECK-NMR for checking the quality of structures solved by NMR”

Objectives Available on ProCheck is an online web based tool that is publicly available for the users. Research Outcome It perform protein model evaluation, either predicted model or experimentally determined and downloaded from PDB. Analyzes ProCheck analyzes the geometry of the protein structure residue-by-residue and then the overall geometry of the structure.

Input The input to PROCHECK is a single file containing the coordinates of your protein structure. This must be in Brookhaven file format. The outputs comprise a number of plots, together with a detailed residue-by-residue listing. The plots are output in PostScript format. Output Input & Output

Warnings Provides Number of warnings' and the number of regions that passed the evolution test. Model Quality Checks the qualities of protein models based on their stereochemical properties. Evaluation Numbers of evaluations that have been done based on the geometry of the target protein. Evaluation ProCheck aimed to evaluate protein models Plot Ramachandran residues information and the residues that should be more investigated Methodology Error Values Provides the information about the 'Number of Errors' in model structure

ProCheck summary for all residues, Chi1-Chi2 plots and side chain parameters. Ramachandran plot based on Psi-Phi degrees represents the regions for desired amino acids.
