Six years ago, on August 15th, our family trip was an
unforgettable day. We wake up early, at 6:00 am, and get ready
to go fishing at a place my father had recommended, a
beautiful lake in the mountains. We are all excited, especially
me, who always want to catch a big salmon. My mom is
preparing breakfast for everyone to have energy for the day.
My dad is checking the fishing gear to make sure everything is
in order. My aunt is helping my cousin put on his life jacket.
My uncle is studying the lake map to choose the best fishing
spot. My brother is excited to be using his own fishing rod for
the first time. My cousin is putting bait on his hook with my
aunt's help.

We arrive at the lake and get on the boat, a small
but comfortable one. The sun shines and the river
is calm, perfect conditions for fishing. My father
teaches me how to put the bait and cast the line,
and we wait a while, about half an hour, and
suddenly, I feel a strong pull on the line. "I have a
fish! I have a fish!", I exclaim excitedly. My
family comes to help me and together we manage
to pull out a huge salmon from the water, it was a
big one, about 3 feet long. We are all amazed by
its size and beauty

After an hour of struggling with the fish, we finally pull it out
and put it in the boat. We are all exhausted but happy, and we
take some pictures to remember that day. We caughtsome big
fish, but that salmon was the biggest one. We usedsome bait
and tackle to catch it, and we worecasual clothes and hats to
protect us from the sun. We broughtsome food and drinks to
enjoy during the day, sandwiches, fruits, and water. That day
was special not only because of the fishing but also because
of sharing it with my family. We havesomegreat memories
from that day, and we still talk about it.

We havebeen on someother fishing trips since then, but that one wasthe
best one. I havelearned a lot about fishing and about spending time with
my family. I will always treasure that day.
