WORK METHOD (GENERAL) 1. Detail Engineering To design the grout bags suitable with the height of spans, enviro parameters and soil datas given by TOTAL. This include the calculation of groutbag stability, especially for the bag with support height is more than 1 meter. To asses site “as-found” data To provide as built drawing of installed grout bags c/w detail location as provided by survey team Engineering works must comply with Total engineering requirements Where the representative data of thickness of seabed soft mud are not available, it is recommended to conduct soil sampling survey (on representative sampling points) by utilizing drop core method.   This table below showing the applicability number of bags as outlined in BSP–22–PWK–2–001–B and Exhibit B (Schedule of Prices) when the thickness of soft mud to be removed (utilize airlifting) is more than 445 mm. Soft Mud to be removed (mm) Applicable Support Bag as Outlined in Exibit B, Schedule of Price & BSP–22–PWK–2–001–B Applicable Support Bag as Proposed By Contractor 1,505 and above 0 of 75 0 of 75 1,265 1,500 2 of 75 2 of 75 965 1,250 9 of 75 44 of 75 900 950 44 of 75 44 of 75 450 500 46 of 75 73 of 75 250 445 73 of 75 73 of 75 WORK METHOD (General) Bekapai Pipeline Freespan Reinstatement Campaign Phase #1 2012

Crew Change Crew change is schedule for every 4 weeks (4/2). Onboarding personel must arrive on site first prior to offboarding personnel going onshore. Crew changing to utilise regular’s TOTAL crewboat .   8 . Survey for Barge Positioning, Anchor Job & Barge Shifting Barge positioning to be managed by a survey company, including anchor job and barge shifting (by winches). All barge movement must follow TOTAL Marine Procedures and highly considering the location of all pipelines and any other structures surrounding the working area. The detail procedure of these activities to be developed in separated documents   Survey team to be equipped with (but not limited to): DGPS, Gyro Compass, USBL (for U/W positioning), Mapping Software   Prior to conduct grout bag installation on each defined location, the barge to be positioned so the dive cage will be in a straight vertical line with the span to be rectified. WORK METHOD (GENERAL) 9. Grout Bag Installation by Diver Divers Working Tools/Equipment & Support Bag Some tools/equipments are needed and together with support bag shall be brought by divers when he go underwater. All tools/equipment and support bag to be put or attached onto dive cage. They are: Measuring Tape/USBL (to measure the length and height of the span) Measuring Stick (to check the soil roughly) USBL (to locate the span position and recorded by survey system) Hand Cleaning Tools (for marine growth removal) Airlift & Hose (to lift soft mud when necessary) Bag & Injection Hose etc…..   Pre Survey (5 minutes bottom time) Diver to measure the span height and length. Divers can utilise either measuring tape or USBL whichever the one with higher precision and inform to topside for the result. Diver to check seabed soil and inform topside for the thickness of soft mud Diver to inform topside for the type & thickness of marine growth, whether need to be removed or just leave as it is.   Marine Growth Removal (10-15 minutes bottom time) Marine growth removal maybe required if it is the hard type which possibly damaging the bag. Formshore (as the fabricator of support bag) has put this consideration in designing the bag and to put more layers to strengthen the topside of the bag.   Airlift (10-15 minutes bottom time) Airlift to be utilized when diver found soft mud with certain number of thickness (5cm or more). 750 cfm of airlift is expected to have capacity 1.5 – 2 m3 per minute (solid) to lift the soft mud. WORK METHOD (General) Bekapai Pipeline Freespan Reinstatement Campaign Phase #1 2012

WORK METHOD (GENERAL) 9. Grout Bag Installation by Diver (Cont’d) Deploy Support Bag (5 minutes bottom time) Once or prior to diver finish (or getting finish) the airlift work, if any, then grouting team has to be informed to prepare grout mixing. Diver then continues to deploy support bag on the seabed at the center of pipeline span to be rectified. By using the four corner anchor points, the diver will place and peg out the product under the pipeline insuring that the centre markings on the top of the bag are in line with the longitude of the pipeline.   Support bag that exceed 1m in height it is recommended that the diver secure the underside of the formwork to the pipeline by means of the Over pipe webbing straps .   The diver will then check the lay flat and grout hose for kinks, a test flush of salt water is pumped through hoses to check for blockages when the all clear is given grout mixing will commence.     Grout Mixing & Injection (10-15 minutes bottom time) After the deployment of support bag, diver connecting the injection hose with support bag inlet and inform topside to start grout injection. To keep the bag in proper form, the injection flow rate must be closely monitored. The grouting shall fill up the bag slowly. In common practice, the flow rate shall be in the range between 4 – 6 m3 per hour. When necessary, if the injection time become the most considered bottle neck of overall process of grout bag installation by diver, and after engineering approval from client, the flow rate is possible to be upgraded to 10 m3 per hour.   Once the bag is fully filled by the grout, in a proper form and fully supports the pipeline, then diver disconnects the hose to be flushed with water by grout team. WORK METHOD (GENERAL) 9. Grout Bag Installation by Diver (Cont’d) CONTINGENCIES If a problem arises the grout supervisor has 20 to 30 minutes depending on conditions and temperature before grout in the mixing bowl requires discharging to prevent damage to grout spread and blockage to the subsea hoses.   Damage to formwork during deployment . The formwork will be retrieved to vessel and repaired where appropriate if it is deemed un repairable a new formwork will be deployed.-------------------- Kinking of grout hose or lay flat . If no return is seen by the diver from vents while pumping grout, the diver will check for kinks and straighten if possible. If this is not achievable within the allocated time the grout will be discharged from mixing bowl and hoses disconnected from the bag. The grout hose will be recovered to the deck this will then be gravity feed over the side to prevent blockage.----------- Hose burst or blockage. If for any reason a burst hose is detected, this may be due to unexpected vessel movement or blockage of hose the same procedures as per kinking will take place and repairs made to hose. -------------- Failure of vessels water or compressor supply. Grouting personnel shall contact responsible person to determine stoppage time and decide if it is required to abort grouting operations.------------ Interruptions to grouting. If any stoppage has occurred during inflation of formwork and section was not completed the formwork will be rejected.     Post Survey Diver checks the touchness between top side of grout bag and the supported pipeline. No gap is allowed, so diver has to ensure it by using his fingers. Diver to take video from all angel (top, all 4 sides) and measure the dimension of installed grout bag for the pupose of as built drawing, when necessary.
