View Tab Master views (Slide, Handout, and Notes) The master views include, Slide, Handout, and Notes view which are used as templates that store information about the presentation, including background, colour, fonts, effects, placeholder sizes and positions.
Slide master. Master slides control the look of your entire presentation, including colors, fonts, backgrounds, effects, and just about everything else. You can insert a shape or a logo on a slide master, for example, and it will show up on all your slides automatically . It is a template used to create consistent layouts throughout the PowerPoint presentation. A slide master is the top slide in a hierarchy of slides. The PowerPoint presentation contains three masters: slide, notes, and handout.
Handout master Customize how your presentation will look as a printed handout. You can choose the design and layout of the handout, such as background formatting and where headers/footers will appear. You can also select options for your page setup. We can also set the page orientation, and specify the number of slides to print per handout page . This master includes moving, resizing, formatting the header and footer placeholders.
Notes master Customize how your presentation will look when printed out with your notes. You can choose the design and layout of the notes page, such as background formatting and where headers/footers will appear. You can also select options for your page setup . The notes master is the template for all the notes pages and its layout .
Zoom Zoom to the level that's right for you. For zoomier zooming, use the controls in the status bar.
Fit to window Zoom your presentation so that the slide fills the window.
Set up Slide show Whether the show will run automatically or will be presented by a speaker. The Looping options . Narration options . Monitor resolutions.
Rehearse timing Practice makes perfect. Start the full-screen slide show to figure out the perfect timing for each slide. As you rehearse your presentation, PowerPoint will record how much time you spend on each slide. Once you get the timings right, you can use them to run the show automatically. Practice speaking and advance the slides during a presentation.
