Prosocial Behaviour: Meaning, Definition, Nature, Components, Characteristics and factors influencing PSB.

2. भगवत गीता और सामाजिक उन्मुख व्यवहार गीता में दो अवधारणाएं दी गयी हैं जो सामाजिक उन्मुख व्यवहार को खूबसूरती से समझाती हैं। 1. स्वधर्म - आत्म-धर्म, सामाजिक और प्राकृतिक पर्यावरण के कल्याण के इरादे से निभाया गया कर्तव्य जो परिपूर्ण संतुष्टि और आनंद देता हो। 2. निष्काम कर्म: - आत्म-कर्म या इच्छा रहित कार्य अर्थात फल या परिणामों की उम्मीद के बिना कार्य करने की एक प्रक्रिया को निष्काम कर्म: कहते हैं।

3. Bhagavad Gita and Pro-social Behaviour Two concepts are given in Gita that beautifully explain Pro-social behaviour are: - Swadhrma - Self-dharma, is the duty with intent of welfare of social and natural environment that gives highest satisfaction and joy. Nishkama Karma - Self-less or without desire action, is an action performed without any expectation of fruits or results.

4. सामाजिक उन्मुख व्यवहार का अर्थ प्रो – समर्थन या किसी के पक्ष में। सामाजिक – समाज से संबंधित या दूसरों की संगत में। Pro social Behaviour Meaning Pro – Supporting or in favour of Social – Relating to society or in company of others.

5. सामाजिक उन्मुख व्यवहार की प्रकृति स्वेच्छा से दूसरों के लिए अच्छा करना और उनकी सहायता करना ही सामाजिक उन्मुख व्यवहार कहलाता है। सामाजिक उन्मुख व्यवहार को परोपकार का समानार्थी शब्द माना जाता है जिसका मतलब होता है कि बदले में किसी चीज की इच्छा किए बगैर दूसरों के कल्याण के लिए उनकी मदद करना। हालांकि, परोपकार सामाजिक उन्मुख व्यवहार का उप-समूचय है। यह बच्चों स हित सभी उम्र के लोगों द्वारा किया जाता है।

6. Nature of Pro-social Behaviour (PSB) The volunteer act of doing good to others and being helpful is pro-social behaviour. PSB is synonyms with altruism which means helping others for their welfare without seeking any thing in return. However, altruism is the subset of PSB. It is performed by people of all ages including children.

7. सामाजिक उन्मुख व्यवहार विचारों एवं वस्तुओं को साझा करने, किसी की मदद करने, पक्ष लेने, दान करने, दूसरों को सांत्वना देने के रूप में भी हो सकता है। सामाजिक उन्मुख व्यवहार व्यक्ति में जन्मजात होता है। सीखना और सामाजिक वातावरण सामाजिक उन्मुख व्यवहार को प्रभावित करता है। तदनुभूति के साथ इसका सकारात्मक और उच्च सहसंबंध पाया जाता है। इसका इस्तेमाल सदाचार, स्वार्थ, जोड़ - तोड़, नीतिपरक या सामाजिक कारणों जैसे विभिन्न कारकों के कारण किया जाता है। सामाजिक उन्मुख व्यवहार करने वाले लोगों का मनोवैज्ञानिक स्वास्थ्य बेहतर पाये जाने की संभावना अधिक होती है।

8. It can be in the form of sharing, helping, doing favours , charities, comforting others etc. PSB is inborn natural tendency to help others. Learning and social environment influences the PSB. It has positive and high correlation with empathy. It is practiced for various reasons such as moral, selfish, manipulative, ethical or social reasons. Those who engage in PSB are likely to have better psychological health.

9. विशेषताएं 1. इसका उद्देश्य दूसरे व्यक्ति या व्यक्तियों की मदद करना या उनके लिए कुछ अच्छा करना होता है। 2. पी एस बी बदले में कुछ पाने की उम्मीद किए बिना ही किया जाता है। 3. यह स्वेच्छा से किया गया व्यवहार होता है। 4. इसमें कोई बाहरी दबाव शामिल नहीं होता है। 5. पी एस बी में शामिल व्यक्ति को कुछ - न - कुछ व्यवहारिक या वित्तीय कीमत चुकानी पड़ती है । 6. पी एस बी तदनुभूति से परिपूर्ण कार्रवाई होती है।

10. Characteristics 1. It aims to benefit or do good to another person or persons. 2. The PSB is done without seeing or expecting anything in return. 3. It is volunteer behaviour. 4. It does not involve any coercion or external pressure. 5. It involve some behavioural or financial ‘cost’ to the individual indulging in PSB. 6. PSB is empathetic action.

11. सामाजिक उन्मुख व्यवहार के घटक 1 . सहायता लागत, 2. सहायता पाने वाले का शारीरिक आकर्षण, 3. पी एस बी में शामिल व्यक्ति की मनोदशा, 4. पी एस बी में शामिल व्यक्ति के लिए पी एस बी का नियमित अनुभव, 5. सहायता देने वाले व्यक्ति का व्यक्तित्व, 6. सामाजिक और पारिवारिक मूल्य , एवं 7. सांस्कृतिक लालन - पालन आदि ।

12. Components of PSB 1. Help cost, 2. Physical attractiveness of the receiver, 3. Mood of the individual indulging in PSB, 4. Regular exposure to PSB to helper, 5. Personality traits of helper, 6. Social and family values , and 7. Cultural upbringing etc.

13. सामाजिक उन्मुख व्यवहार को प्रभावित करने वाले कारक 1. इंसान की जन्मजात प्रवृत्ति (आनुवंशिकता)। 2. समाजीकरण और सांस्कृतिक कारक। 3. सामाजिक जिम्मेदारी, पारस्परिकता और निष्पक्षता। 4. सहायता पाने वाले की अपेक्षित प्रतिक्रिया और अनुक्रिया। 5. सामाजिक उन्मुख व्यवहार में शामिल व्यक्ति में सहानुभूति का स्तर। 6. दर्शकों की उपस्थिति। 7. स्थिति कारक।

14. Factors Influencing PSB 1. Inborn natural tendency of human being (Heredity). 2. Socialization and Cultural factors. 3. Social Responsibility, Reciprocity and Equity. 4. Expected reaction and response of the receiver. 5. Level of empathy in the individual indulging in PSB. 6. Presence of bystanders. 7. Situational Factors.
