is like a tree with many branches.
Under Christianity we have Roman
Catholic, Born Again Christian,
Protestant, Baptist, Lutheran,
Methodist, and Pentocostal to name
a few.
The most important person for
Christians is Jesus Christ, who
taught about love, kindness and
forgiveness.

Judaism: is the religion of the
Jewish people. They follow the
teachings of the Torah. The Torah
is the first five books in the Bible.
Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus,
Numbers and Deuteronomy.

Islam: is the religion that
Muslims follow. They believe in
one God whom they call Allah.
Their Holy Book is Quran.
Muslims pray five times a day.
They visit a special place
called a mosque to pray
together. Its is known that they
celebrate Ramadan and the
Festival of Sacrifice.

Hinduism: is a colorful and
diverse religion from India.
Hindus believe in many Gods
and Goddesses. They have
beautiful temples where they
go and pray and celebrate
festivals.

9. LET’S PONDER
Buddhism:
teaches about finding
inner peace and
kindness. They follow the
teachings of Buddha who
was a wise teacher. They
often meditate and visit
temples to find calmness.
