Introduction Health can be dependent on several factors or determinants that shape a particular parson’s condition of health. Health is a positive concept emphasizing on an individual’s social and personal resources and physical capabilities to conduct daily life activities. This presentation will put light on how these determinants effect on human health along with different types of influences based on demographic and personal characteristics.

Education as determinants of health People having poor academic participation have low health consciousness. According to the graph, higher educated people are more proficient in health literacy than less educated people. Women of London who have college educations, have 27% lower chances of diabetes than women having high school education. Educated people are healthier both mentally and physically and less likely to experience poor mental health. People having adequate safety and sanitization knowledge are less likely to be infected with COVID-19.

The impact of unemployment on health Unemployed people and their families suffer higher amount risk in case of premature deaths. It impacts on mental health, self-reported ill health, chronic heart and hyper tensions diseases and raises the chances of suicidal attempts. During economic depression of 2007-2009, the number of mental health patient had been increased by 45%. and most of them belonged to the age group of 25-55 years who had lost their jobs. Global pandemic causes anxiety and depressions by 35% within the unemployed British citizens after losing job.

Smoking and drug addiction influencing on human health The use of illicit drug and cigarette make people vulnerable to deaths by installing chronic diseases like Cancer, diabetes, high blood-pressure stroke and peripheral vascular diseases. The total number of deaths caused by drugs in 2019 was reported around 1,900,000 around the globe and 1 millions in EUROPE alone. The smoking rate in UK is 14% and it causes 70,000 deaths in UK, 9,000 in Scotland and 2000 in Northern Ireland in 2019. Drug addicted and smokers are vulnerable to death if they are diagnosed with COVID-19.

Conclusion The education is crucial to reduce the health issues and policy makers must increase the participation in health education programmes. Government must manage the business cycle to secure and reduce the chances of unemployment and must enhance the work environment standards to maintain job safety. Lastly, to deal with drugs and smoking problems, it obligatory to support and treat addictive people and must address the social deprivation and causes that breed the use of drugs.
