Ingredient Punarnava Nimba Patola Shunti Tikta Amruta Darvi Abhaya - 1 part - 1 part -1 part -1 part -1 part -1 part -1 part -1 part
Procedure Take equal parts of the above herbs. Clean them properly, dry them, and powder each herb Mix all powders in equal proportion Add 16 parts of water Boil and reduce the quantity to 1/4th Filter the decoction using a clean cotton cloth Use the filtered liquid ( kashya )
Rasa panchaka Rasa Guna Virya Vipaka - tikta, kashaya, madura - laghu, ruksha - ushna - madhura
Ingredients One pala each - P unarnava, trivritta, sunthi, maricha, pippali, vidanga, devadaru, chitraka, kushtha, haridra, daruharidra, haritaki, bibhitaka, amalaki, danti, chavya, kālingaka, pippalī, pippalimoola and must a; forty pala - mandura bhasma two adhaka - cow's urine
Procedure One pala of each drug mentioned earlier is taken and forty pala of mandura bhasma coked in two adhaka of cow's urine and made in the form of gutika of the size of kola.
