3. USG PAROTID   The superficial & deep lobes of the parotid gland are normal. Facial artery with normal flow is seen without nay entrapment. The capsule is normal. There is no evidence of any altered echogenic lesion within. The submandibular gland is normal in size ,shape and position there is no evidence of altered echogenic lesion within. A hypoechoic homogenous lesion of 2.3 x 0.9 cms is seen deep in the left pterygopalatine fossa from the outer side under the angle of ramus mandible (enlarged tonsil).there is no evidence of fluid or sonolucent lesion s/o of abcess associated with the lesion. Multiple small subcentrimetric associated hypoechoic lesion are present ( lymphnodes).
