Allaahumma inni a’udhu bika minal-'ajzi, wal-kasali, wal-jubni, wal-
bukhli, wal-harami, wal-qaswati, wal-ghaflati, wal-‘ailati, wadh-
dhillati, wal-maskanati. Wa a'udhu bika minal-faqri, wal-kufri, wal-
fosoogi, wash-shiqaagi, wan-nifaagi, was-sum'ati, war-riyaa'i. Wa
a'udhu bika minas-sammami, wal-bakami, wal-junooni, wal-
judhaami, wal-barasi, wa sayyi'il-asqaam.
“0 Allah, | seek refuge with You from incapacity, and from laziness,
from cowardice, and from miserliness, decrepitude (old age), from
harshness (having a hardened heart), from heedlessness, injustice,
humility (being humiliated), from misery and I seek refuge with You
from poverty, disbelief, disobedience, dissension, hypocrisy, from
seeking reputation and showing off, and I seek refuge with You from
deafness, dumbness, from insanity, leprosy, leucoderma and evil
