RULES OF CRICKET A Cricket Team should have 11 members. One over consists of 6 balls. There are two or three umpires, who apply the Laws, make all necessary decisions. Runs are scored when the two batsmen run to each other's end of the pitch. A wide adds one run to the batting team's score. If the ball is hit into or past this boundary, four runs are scored, or six runs if the ball does not hit the ground before crossing the boundary.
