RULES OF CRICKET A Cricket Team should have 11 members. One over consists of 6 balls. There are two or three umpires, who apply the Laws, make all necessary decisions. Runs are scored when the two batsmen run to each other's end of the pitch. A wide adds one run to the batting team's score. If the ball is hit into or past this boundary, four runs are scored, or six runs if the ball does not hit the ground before crossing the boundary.

SUMMARY The story begins with an ongoing match. The score was 53 runs for 4 wickets and they required at least 60 runs to make the victory. Ranji’s team was batting and it was his turn to bat. He was last among the good batsmen in his team and had to help the team attain the victory. Ranji was going to face the tall fast bowler in the opposition group. Unfortunately, the ball hit his pad and he was immediately out of the game.
