1. REFLECTION OF VMGO FOR BOTH PARTY
My barangay’s and my school’s VMGOs are the same: empowerment through
community, leadership, and service. Although CTU promotes competent, responsible
and competitive students, that I cannot take in my barangay, “peace, cleanliness, safety
and honest-to-goodness governance. Although they are of different geography and
purpose, they share the commitment for sustainability, solidarity, openness and
empowerment that characterizes many of our practices.
Their shared goal for the better future, the barangay as the foundation of a strong
community and the university as the source of the capable manpower.
