What are Regular Plurals? The plural form of most nouns by adding –S to singular noun. Nouns that end in - ch , -x, -s, - sh , z or s - like sound add - es in the end. BOOK BOOKS BAG BAGS Church - churches box – boxes gas - gases bush - bushes ass - asses

The plural of words that end with a CONSONANT + -y is spelled – ies . Most nouns end with a CONSONANT + - O also form their plurals by adding ' es' . Factory  factories Baby  babies Potato  potatoes Hero  heroes
