Relaxation Therapy : It is a broad term used to describe a number of techniques that promote stress reduction ,the elimination of tension throughout the body and a calm and peaceful state of mind. DEFINITION
The goal of relaxation therapy is to calm the brain to permit thinking process to stream in an even smooth pace and trigger the relaxation reaction. To improve the circulation. To relive muscle fatigue. To improve the physical and mental health To improve the physiological function. PURPOSE

Psycho education is an evidence – based psychotherapeutic intervention . In this intervention, education about the nature of illness , its treatment, coping and management strategies, and skills needed to avoid relapse is provided to mentally patients and their family members with an intention to empower then in dealing with their condition in an optimal manner. Regular exercise is the most effective method of reliving stress. Physical exertion provides a natural outlet for the tension produced by the body in its state of arousal for fight or fight. PHYSICAL EXERCISE
Tension is released when the lung are allowed to breath in as much oxygen as possible. Breathing exercises have been found to be effective in reducing anxiety, depression, irritability, muscular tension and fatigue. DEEP BREATHING EXERCISE
The aim of present paper is to highlight the significance of relaxation therapy for the reduction of anxiety related symptoms. The result showed drastic decrease in the level of anxiety and depression. Hence as reported by patient there was also reduction in muscle tension, pain, sleep disturbances. JOURNAL REFERANCE
