Theology Metaphysical Positivistic The concept of abstract entities arises alongside gods, namely nature. Humanity no longer seeks absolute causes like gods/God; instead, human thought begins to seek laws that determine phenomena.
Islamic Perspectives on Life Periodization Islam acknowledges the existence of a theological period ( jahiliyah ), but only for study and as a reminder. Islam also recognizes the existence of a positivistic period but doesn't fully agree because there are hidden (metaphysical) aspects involved in the creation of phenomena.

04 Islamic Education
The Nature and Characteristics of Islamic Education Islamic education is not solely based on the teachings found in the Qur'an and Hadith but also relies on rational thinking that is not contradictory to the Qur'anic teachings. Islam recognizes the periodization of life and acknowledges that each period presents its own challenges. Therefore, Islamic education places a strong emphasis on time management and making the most of one's time. In Surah Al- Alaq , it is clear that Allah commands reading, seeking knowledge, conducting research, and engaging in logical thinking. Character education is the essence of Islamic education. Since Islam accepts the input of the five senses, reason, heart, and conscience, Islamic teachings incorporate customs, manners, culture, ethics, and morals as long as they align with the boundaries set by the Qur'an and Hadith.
