The tradition follows teaching of Bhagavat Gita and focuses on divine grace with its own set of scriptures. Followers engage in devotional practices like chanting and singing and the sect has a significant influence in Maharashtra.
Guru Nanak Guru Nanak was the founder of Sikhism and the first guru of Sikhs. He visited the holy places of both Hindu and Muslim. The followers of Guru Nanak are known as ‘Sikhs’ The Aadigrantha also known as the ‘ Guru Granth Sahib’ is the holy book of the Sikhi's.
