HOW TO CALCULATE OVERALL RESISTANCE IN PARALLEL CONNECTION? To calculate the total resistance of resistors connected in parallel, simply use this formula. Formula 1 : This method of reciprocal calculation can be used for calculating any number of individual resistances connected together within a single parallel network.
