What is Rice Black Bug ? The damage resembles deadheart at vegetative stage and white heads at panicle stage ( s imilar to damage caused by stem borers ). Heavy infestation results to bug burn. RBB are sap suckers or sap feeding insect pests. PhilRice PhilRice
RBB Management Options Grow tolerant or resistant varieties . Synchronous planting. Sanitation - weeds serves as alternate hosts . Flooding.
