Robert Carvalho
President and CEO at EAI, Inc.
Robert Carvalho plays a vital role in environmental projects and in EAI's
legal, technical, and financial responsibilities. His multiple certifications and
affiliations, which include memberships in the American Industrial Hygiene
Association and the New Jersey Association of Industrial Hygienists, attest
to his commitment to excellence.
Honors for his achievements included the prestigious NJBIZ magazine's 40
Under 40 Award in 2003 and the Hudson County Chamber of Commerce's
Gateway County Award in 2005, which acknowledged Robert Carvalho's
exceptional leadership in Hudson County's redevelopment.
After earning a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Hofstra University,
Robert Carvalho became a Certified Professional Geologist. He has over
25 years of experience and is the President and CEO of EAI.
In addition to creating plans for oil spill cleanup and conducting health
and safety inspections at different sites, Robert Carvalho is in charge of
managing the installation of wells for groundwater monitoring.
In the aftermath of the collapse of the World Trade Center, Robert
Carvalho was also in charge of cleaning up 800,000 square feet of lower
Manhattan and disinfecting the ventilation system of the Holland Tunnel.
