It was over 65 years ago that Roomi family entered into the business, first in the import and trading of dental materials and equipment and later manufacturing of oral dental hygiene products. Exclusive distribution and dealership rights were obtained from world renowned manufacturers of Europe and Japan. Business grew steadily through strong sales promotion field force and by participation in Symposium, Educational conferences, Exhibitions etc With the passage of time Roomi moved in the field of manufacturing of dental healthcare products such as toothpastes, mouthwashes and obtained franchises for world class brands “Sensodyne” and “Protect”. To achieve excellence in the manufacturing of oral hygiene products a state of art facility was established in the of city of Karachi. INTRODUCTION & HISTORY:
The structure of roomi enterprises is based completely on a basic hierarchial structure as shown below: Company Structure:
CUSTOMERS Vision: “Roomi is growing steadily with a clear vision to cherish Pakistan’s prosperity for a healthier Pakistan to give basic health for every citizen” Aim: “ Roomi’s obvious aim is to be recognized as most trusted health related products manufacturing house in the country and outside Pakistan.”
PRODUCTS TOLL MANUFACTURING: Roomi Enterprises also offers toll manufacturing facility and produces “SENSODYNE” and “PARADONTAX”. PRIVATE BRAND: Roomi Enterprises Manufactures and sell its own product “PROTECT” Toothpaste and Mouthwash Line.

Does your organization follow SOP’s strictly: As our organization is a Healthcare products manufacture SOP’s,Rules and regulations are and have to be strictly followed be it Health and Safety regulations or Labour laws. Surveys and inspections are thoroughly and regularly conducted to make sure no violations are in place. What are some motivation factors for the employees: Regular incentives, promotions, appreciation certificates and grand dinners are organized to promote Co operation and Create motivations for the employees to work more efficiently.
Any Constraints Faced by managers? “Every work here is done based on it’s priority” “There are really not many constraints but generally time and budget restraints do exist” “In big decisions, we need to reel in the upper management but else everything goes smoothly”
COMPANY ENVIRONMENT Good Suggestions are Appreciated and commended Organization has a good culture, so everyone want to work for a long-term period. Five Workdays a week are a very big Positive Plus point Team Collaboration and Co-operation b/w employees is much encouraged
Technology Roomi Enterprises are and have invested in automated infrastructure to increase the efficiency of out production lines plus taking increased workloads off of workers They’ve recently acquired automated filling and packing machines in the pursuit of maximum efficiency

Covid-19 & It’s effects Covid-19 had a big effect on our profits and massively handicapped our production facility. No Layoff’s were done in roomi enterprises,the working hours we reduced and alternating shifts were also implemented to ensure SOP’s and social distancing was in place,company transport was also suspended.
