Russell Peters

Russell Dominic Peters (born September 29, 1970)[1] is a Canadian stand-up comedian and actor.[4] He began performing in Toronto in 1989 and won a Gemini Award in 2008. In 2013, he was number three on Forbes' list of the world's highest-paid comedians, and became the first comedian to get a Netflix stand-up special

3. TURNING POINT IN HIS LIFE He had the opportunity to meet American comedian George Carlin, someone he was greatly influenced by. Carlin, in his own words, advised Peters to “Take the stage wherever possible and make the most of it” Peters’ followed his advice, word by word His performance on the Canadian show “Comedy now” captured audiences worldwide He hosted Carlin’s show after he died in 2007, as a token of respect
