F a c i a l P a l sy Facial palsy is due to the damage in the facial nerve that supplies the muscles of the face. It can be categorized into two based on the location of casual pathology: Central facial palsy- due to damage above the facial nucleus Peripheral facial palsy-due to age at or below the facial nucleus .

Bell's P a l s y Bell's palsy is a type of facial paralysis that results in a temporary inability to control the facial muscles on the affected side of the face. Symptoms can vary from mild to severe. They may include muscle twitching, weakness, or total loss of the ability to move one, and in rare cases, both sides of the face. Other symptoms include drooping of the eyelid, a change in taste, pain around the ear, and increased sensitivity to sound.
