Key duties/responsibilities for sales executive Calls ( includeing cold calling) on potential businesses and creates an effective pipeline of potential contacts. Generates new businesses through a series of networking events, industry contacts, and LinkedIn . Maintains existing client relationships by providing on-going consulation . Develops and maintains strong working relationships with clients to create a partnership that yields success, results, and credibility. Keeps abreast of trends and innovative sales techniques in an effort to maintain a competitive edge. Assists with developing and implementing strategic business development initiatives for RSS to achieve both short and long term goals. Participates in special projects, as needed. Partners with internal recruiters to deliver services.

Key job qualifications for sales executive A Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the financial services industry. Must have a proven track record of successful sales to financial institutions and ability to manage a territory independently. Knowledge of enterprise performance management solution selling is preferred. Working knowledge of regulations surrounding the financial services industry. 10 + years’ experience in a consultative sales role at (preferably) a major enterprise software vendor. Excellent human relations skills, including written and verbal communications and group presentation skills. Skill in sales and negotiating techniques. Must possess excellent written, oral, presentation skills. Professional presence required to meet with C-Level client executives Possess a positive attitude while operating under pressure, and be an independent problem-solver.
