COPYRIGHT STATEMENTS FOR
THESIS
SAMPLE STATEMENTS
Following are some of the commonly used phrases used by academic societies, universities/institutes,
and authors, especially during thesis or dissertation submission. These are just samples from different
international universities for all degrees, including graduates, post graduates and PHD.
Consult your concerning departm ent/institution/college/school/center/university and
advisors/supervisors regarding copyright statements and restriction to use, including embargo period if
exists for both hard binding (hard copy) and e-submission (soft copy).
Although, they are not mandatory. But it is an international practice nowadays. Consults your
corresponding official staff for rules and regulations.
