2. Carnaval “ Vincy Mas” Carnival “ Vincy Mas” St. Vincent’s Carnival, or  Vincy Mas, has an identity all of its own. Kicking off with an official launching in May, carnival celebrations stretch all the way through to July, culminating in the world famous street parties of  J’Ouvert  and Mardi Gras In between there are a whole host of wonderfully entertaining events such as the Miss SVGcompetition , the  Soca Monarch Competition , Miss Carival , the Junior Pan Fest and so much more. Band of The Year is a much sought after prize by those competing and partying during the Mardi Gras Parade of Bands, a fabulously colourful bonanza of costumes, music and dance.  Con origen africano raíces y mezclado con Caribe y local folk lore , San Vicente Carnaval ha crecido para ser estreno evento nacional y cultural de la isla. " Vincy Mas", como popularmente se le llama, personifica la celebración del talento, arte y artesanía como se muestra por la música de la cacerola de acero, Calypsonians y máscaras. Durante junio y julio, esta fiesta de carnaval es considerada por alguno ser a par, Si no en tamaño, con el carnaval de río, Carnaval de Trinidad y New Orleans Mardi Gras. Principales destacan la Miss carnaval Show. En la última década, el Miss Show carnaval se ha convertido en Premier del Caribe desfile de la belleza.
