Diosdado P. Banatao born May 23, 1946) is a Filipino entrepreneur and engineer working in the high-tech industry,[2] credited with having developed the first 10-Mbit Ethernet CMOS with silicon coupler data-link control and transceiver chip, the first system logic chip set for IBM's PC-XT and the PC-AT, and the local bus concept and the first Windows Graphics accelerator chip for personal computers.[3] A three-time start-up veteran, he co-founded Mostron , Chips and Technologies, and S3 Graphics.[4] Microchip

Edgardo G. Vazquez (1951 - ) is known as the inventor of the pre-fabricated Vazbuilt fence used as a wall on several expressways in Luzon. It received the World Intellectual Propert Organization Gold Medal in 1995. Edgardo graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Commerce course at San Beda College. He worked in his own construction equipment store, and there he learned that the building materials were still very expensive. This inspired him to design a house that was about half as cheap as the regular house. His design became known as Vazbuilt . This house can be built in just 14 to 30 days depending on the model. The Vazbuilt is easy to build like a Lego toy. It can also be removed and moved to another location. Moreover, Vazbuilt , according to Edgardo is strong against hail, earthquake, fire, and storm. As a result, Vazbuilt was counted one of the best corporations (Top 1,000) in the Philippines.

Leonardo Salvador Sarao (13 April 1921 – 31 July 2001) was the founder and owner of the Sarao Motors , a company known for designing, manufacturing and selling the jeepney, the most popular mode of transportation in the Philippines. He is not the first person to alter the surplus jeeps left behind by the United States Army from World War II,[2] but he saw them as a business opportunity for mass transportation. He redesigned the surplus jeeps to increase its functionality by extending the body to accommodate at least twice the number of passengers and by putting some railings at the back and top for extra passengers to cling to, and for cargoes.[3] He revolutionized a burgeoning industry and changed the life of generations of Filipinos.[1] Leonardo Sarao was awarded The Outstanding Filipino Award (TOFIL) in 1991 for Entrepreneurship. He started Sarao Motors from a borrowed PHP700. Though he only attained Grade 6 level of education because of poverty, he was able to make the company grow into a multimillion peso conglomerate. [4]

Roberto Legaspi del Rosario (June 7, 1919 – July 30, 2003) was a Filipino entrepreneur; best known as the patentholder of the Sing-Along System, a type of karaoke appliance he developed in 1975. From his entrepreneurial initiative to patent a karaoke system first, he frequently, albeit arguably, became referred to as "the inventor of Karaoke".
